Battlefront:WWII is a rules system for simulating mid-20th century ground battles using miniature soldiers and vehicles. Our first release covered the period from 1944-1945 for the German, Soviet, and American forces and we now have two supplements covering the rest of the late-war period and Blitzkrieg era. We eventually hope to have data for the entire period either through supplements or free prototypes.

Our first product was actually the well-received brigade level Fire and Fury Civil War game, which came out in 1990. Although we do not sell this product, it has many fans, some of whom have either lost or worn out the charts that came with the game. Rather than responding to each request individually, Richard asked me to put up a copy of the Original Fire and Fury Charts (pdf 203k) so that people could download and print their own. Mission Statement

The purpose of this site is threefold.

First, we want to sell the game (crass commercialism has its place).

Second, we want to support Battlefront:WWII to make it the best set of World War II miniatures rules on the market (we already think it is, but our view is not unbiased). However, we are not alone. Here is a testimonial from veteran gamer Duke Seifried:

"Thank you for a fine piece of work. It is an exceptional system a gamer can rapidly assimilate and utilize to realistically simulate the multi-faceted elements of WWII combat. It successfully integrates the wide variety of WW II equipment without losing the basic core of battle, the infantry, who play a critical role in the game. I like it...it plays well; and it lends itself to alternate scale variation. I highly recommend WW II Battlefront!"
      Duke Seifried HISTORICON 2002

Finally, we want to host a forum for subjects of interest to World War II history buffs, with an emphasis on relating these subjects to our ruleset by providing sources of new scenarios and an historical context for the game. We want to provide you (our customers), a reason for visiting this site even you are not interested in purchasing things. Also, since we are fellow hobbyists, we are interested in information that others can give us.
